ziehier een antwoord van Cartography Europe bij Garmin:
"There will be separate discs but for specific units - we will know which ones to send out. There will be no difference between the discs for 3d mapping units and non-3d mapping units - the 3d facility is on the unit rather than the discs. We do not have a set price but we are expecting it to be around $75 USD.

Ik gok op verschillende DVD's voor toestellen met of zonder voorgebakken kaart zoals de 2620 / 2610

Vrinden,

Laten we ophouden met speculeren. Komt de duidelijkheid niet ten goede. Het heeft nòch te maken met pre-installed, nòch met 3D weergave.

Er komen twee update DVD's:
- City Navigator Europa v8
- City Navigator Europa v8 NT

De City Navigator Europa v8 NT update DVD is de update voor:
StreetPilot i3
StreetPilot c3xx
(de andere nieuwe toestellen zoals de 2720 hebben al v8 )

De 'gewone' City Navigator v8 update DVD is de update voor:
alle andere autorouterende toestellen
