Well, to my experience management likes to see graphs showing 'tickets' being quickly closed. That's why tickets tend to speed up answers, not necessarily solutions.

It seems 1 such example already arrived.
A feature? I fail to see why someone would want to switch off the big compass rotation but leave the function running?

But perhaps I'm comparing it too much with my 60CSx where the magnetic compass can be fully switched OFF or ON, and that includes switching OFF the 'big' compass as well as the heading field.
Anyhow, let's not be too pessimistic and indeed hope for proper action from Garmin's side. After all the tickets are there and probably answers will follow.

I guess, that's Garmin logic. Also in other Garmin devices, that seems to be more in other places too, that disabling an option doesn't do that in 'every place'. At least it's just a minor thing, so it shouldn't bother.

Does anyone uses the Garmin tempe sensor or other ANT devices with the 276Cx?

Since I have a done full reset on my firmware 5.10, I need to pair again the tempe sensor.
But I am unable to do so, as the 276Cx doesn't start the pairing process.

In order to start the pairing process, I go to the main menu "Setup" and choose tab "ANT Sensor".
Since I did a reset, "Tempe Sensor" is set to "Off" by default.

If I choose now "On" or "Search For New", it does nothing. It falls directly back to "Off".
The normal behavior would be instead of falling to "Off" to show "Searching" and after a few seconds the pairing should be complete.

I can observe the same behavior on all other ANT device options (Bike Speed, Bike Candence, Heart Rate), all stay "Off", when choosing "On" or "Search For New".

Is this a firmware bug in version 5.10 or is my 276Cx defective?
Can anyone reproduce that on firmware 5.10?

I don't have any ANT devices and I didn't do a full reset on v5.10 and mine behaves the same.
Entering ON or Search For New, the Temp Sensor field falls back to Off, same for the other 3.
Only VIRB accepts the ON position.

Yes, that's exactly the same behauvior as mine including VIRB. Thank you for testing and confirming. So my 276Cx is not defective, as it seems.
So it seems, that Garmin broke ANT completly with firmware 5.10

With firmware 4.80, I was able to pair and use my Tempe sensor.
And, as I remember correctly, you coudn't just enable VIRB, as it wanted to pair.

I have to correct, apprently only pairing with new ANT devices is broken. If you have already paired an ANT device on a older firmware and upgraded afterwards to firmware 5.10 without reset, the paired ANT devices will continue to work. But you can't pair a new one.

In support of your request of yesterday I sent below text to Support_NL this morning.

"Since firmware update version 5.10 I notice that the setup-menu for ANT devices does not work as before.
Try this:
Select Setup / Select ANT sensor / Select Tempe Sensor / [Enter] / Select ON or Search For New / [Enter]
You'll notice that the Tempe Sensor field falls back to OFF, the selected option is not accepted.
The same behaviour is noticed for Heart Rate Monitor, Bike Speed Sensor and Bike Cadence Sensor."

Vandaag een grote cirkel rondom de Rursee (Eifel) gereden.

Wanneer het beeld overschakelt van het normale kaartscherm naar het popup-scherm (afslag popup) zag ik een enkele maal (2 of 3 keer op de gehele dag) dat de linkerhelft van het popup-scherm even geheel blauw gekleurd was. Een fractie van een seconde later verschijnt dan de afslag situatie in beeld.

Dit is me voorheen nooit opgevallen en ik denk dat het pas ontstaan is na de laatste firmware update naar 5.10.
Het is maar een kleinigheidje en eigenlijk het vermelden niet waard, stoort ook absoluut helemaal niet.
Zover ik mij herinner was de vorige situatie dat de overschakeling van normaal kaartscherm naar pop-up kaartscherm altijd naadloos gebeurde, dus zonder dat zeer korte momentje blauw op de linkerhelft van het pop-up scherm.

Verder geen bijzonderheden of veranderingen opgemerkt tijdens deze eerste rit met versie 5.10. Mijn standaard navigatie (uitsluitend directe routes inladen, track en door toestel berekende route tonen) werkt zoals altijd zonder problemen.

I had this with 'all blue' in older firmware versions too.
Also drove today a longer tour. The only problem I noticed, after a few hours the 276Cx stopped audio via bluetooth. Reconnect didn't help and device claimed to be still connected. Restart of whole unit helped.

De mijne deed dat met dat blauwe scherm ook voor de firmware update heel af en toe al. Heb er na de update nog niet mee gereden.

Bedankt voor deze informatie. Het is dus niet nieuw en ik heb 5.10 ten onrechte hiervan beschuldigd.

Ondanks dat ik die pop-up bij de 4.10 versie maar heel af en toe ingeschakeld had, heb ik dat blauwe scherm nooit gezien.
In de 5.10 versie zie ik dat blauwe scherm i.i.g. wel.

Ik heb de nieuwe 276Cx afgelopen maandag al weer ontvangen en uiteraard eerst alle instellingen, zo als ik gewend was, ingesteld en met de oude software versie (4.10) geprobeerd. Bluetooth connectie met de helm set was in een mum van tijd werkend. Alle aanwijzingen kwamen goed door.
Toen de 5.10 versie geïnstalleerd. En wat schetste mijn verbazing: geen gesproken aanwijzingen. Na van alles uitgeprobeerd te hebben, kwam ik er toevallig achter, dat de door mij geactiveerde stem (Nederlands, Lieke) in 5.10 verdwenen is. Alle andere stemmen komen luid en duidelijk door, maar Lieke niet.
En zij was degene die niet de straatnamen opnoemde.
Heb e.e.a. uitgeprobeerd met een gesimuleerde route (dus GPS uit).
Zijn er meer die dit hebben?

Je kunt die Lieke (Lieke.vpm en Lieke.sum) terughalen uit de backup die je (hopelijk) ooit gemaakt hebt van een nieuw toestel en terugzetten in de Garmin/Voice/folder.
Of ze dan weer snatert?
